Superannuation + Age Pension Calculator
The Age Pension is means-tested and can provide part or full retirement income alongside your own superannuation. This calculator gives a simplified, indicative estimate of a part Age Pension entitlement based on the assets test, using your projected super balance from the calculator below.

A simplified assets-test estimate only
This tool considers only the Age Pension assets test, and assumes you own your home (non-homeowners face different, higher asset thresholds). It ignores the income test and deeming rules entirely, both of which can also reduce your entitlement — Centrelink pays based on whichever test (income or assets) results in the lower amount. The dollar thresholds used are indicative figures checked at a point in time and are reviewed by Services Australia in March, July, and September each year, so treat this as a rough planning estimate rather than an assessment.
Getting an accurate Age Pension assessment
For an accurate, personal Age Pension estimate that accounts for your income, all your assets, homeownership status, and relationship status correctly, use Services Australia's own payment and service finder tools, or contact them directly. This calculator is a starting point for understanding how super and the Age Pension might interact, not a substitute for that assessment.
